FAQ - COVID

I am local but not a member, can I still gain access to the Club?

Yes! As of the 7th of December 2020 we are accepting all Members and Visitors!

For your safety, and should a potential Covid hot spot pop up closer to the Club, we will continue to screen all members and visitors on entry including temperature checks. Patrons will be asked if they are feeling unwell and those displaying symptoms will not be able to enter the venue.

What food and beverage outlets are currently open?

Bistro 63 and our Bars are open as indicated in our trading hours on the website.

Are gaming lounges open?

All Club gaming lounges are open with physical distancing measures in place including every second poker machine signed to indicate out of play to accommodate for the 1.5 spatial distancing requirements.

Are we allowed to use the dancefloor?

Yes. With recent relaxation of guidelines people are allowed to use a dance floor again. The guideline allows for social distancing of 1 person per 4 square metres of space. Our dance floor is approx. 110.5 sqm and as a result our capacity for anyone time on the dance floor is a maximum of 27 people.

Is there a time limit to club visitation?

No, there is no limit to the amount of time a member can spend in our Club.

How are you managing the health and safety of employees?

Keeping our employees safe is one of our top priorities. We will continue to apply the highest standard of cleanliness and hygiene across our facility in order to protect them along with our Members. We’ve increased our cleaning schedules including additional daily sanitation of the front and back of house, installed extra hand sanitiser stations and soap dispensers and have increased our focus on physical distancing measures for staff in front and back of house spaces. And of course, we advise our team that should they be feeling unwell to stay home and seek medical opinion.

How can Members assist with keeping each other safe?

We recommend all members adopt high standards of personal hygiene, including washing hands and using hand sanitiser frequently as well as maintaining standard physical distancing measures. And if you are not feeling well, please stay home.

What do Safe physical distancing requirements include?

  • Remain seated if located inside when not placing or collecting an order
  • Remain within your group and not move to another group of guests
  • Ensure 1.5 metres between groups
  • Ensure that there is no more than 30 people at a table

 

 

 Do family members need to socially distance inside the club?

Members of the same household are not required to socially distance, if members are not from the same household, our COVID safe marshals will advise members to observe distancing of 1.5 metres between each other.

Will there be live entertainment and promotions be coming back soon?

Yes – and we will be delivering them in a Covid safe way! Head to our website to view all our upcoming promotions, raffles and live entertainment.

What payment options will be available in-club?

While we still do accept cash, members can also utilise our Tap and Go contactless electronic payment method. Our ATM facilities are still available and frequently sanitised.

How long will the current restrictions apply?

The NSW Government has not advised how long these conditions will be required; however, they will be reviewed regularly in line with the broader COVID-19 situation and case numbers. Our Board of Directors are also meeting regularly and discussing ongoing COVID-19 related policies and procedures.

Why do we have to sign in or use a Qscan?

We are required to register all visitors to the Club in order that we can provide these details to the Health Department should they request them. The Qscan is the safest & easiest way for our members to register & ensure a safe environment. This is an approved digital contact tracing system. (Introduced as mandatory 23.11.2020)
