Conditions of Entry
With updated warnings and advice from NSW Health we are constantly considering the conditions of entry to Kahibah Sports. Currently entry to the Club is available to all Member’s and visitors. Please note, due to venue capacity limitations and social distancing requirements at peak times there may be queues.
Masks for Members
During these times more so than ever, we value the health and safety of our team and our Members. Currently wearing masks in NSW Clubs is not mandatory, however we support anyone’s choice in wearing one.
Physical distancing and people flow
To assist us reduce mingling between different areas within Kahibah Sports and to enforce the recommended physical distancing measures of 1 person per 2 square metres , we have analysed the accessible available public space in square metre coverage to comply with the current Government guidelines. Consequently, we have modified our layout so that our COVID Safe area has only one entry point and has access to food and beverage services.
Our Club has a total square metre of available public space of 1,384sqm. As a result, and to ensure compliance with Government guidelines, we have capped our internal venue capacity to 600 persons at any one time.
When visiting Kahibah Sports we request that you follow our signage, floor marking indicators, remain seated while inside and respect the directions of our COVID Safe Marshals who are here to help you keep safe and healthy.
Enhanced hygiene measures
It is important that we all contribute to keeping everybody safe and healthy during the pandemic. While Kahibah Sports remain committed to our COVID Safe practices such as enhanced hygiene and cleaning regimes, promoting social distancing and providing clear thoroughfares to avoid co-mingling, you can also play your part by maintaining your distance from others, by using the hand sanitizers that we have provided and most importantly staying at home if you are feeling unwell.
We support anyone who wants to wear a mask within our Club.
Common touch points
Common touch points will be sanitised and disinfected every morning and on regular rotation throughout the trading day as monitored by our COVID Safe Marshalls.
COVID Marshal team
Our COVID Marshal team are present during every hour that we are open. They are easily spotted with their hivis safety vests. These Marshals are responsible for ensuring that our Club’s COVID safe plan is implemented every single day to protect our Team, our Members and our Suppliers.
QR Code and Digital Tracing
Mandatory digital tracing has been introduced as of 23 November 2020. We utilise a NSW Government approved contact tracing system QR codes from Members Guestlist. Your details remain with us (and safe) unless there is a need for the transfer of your information to NSW Health in the event of a potential COVID-19 exposure at the club.
Since the commencement of the pandemic we have all been forced to modify the way we go about our everyday lives. The one constant is that at Kahibah Sports you will always find our smiling team ready to deliver first class hospitality and serve you frosty beverages, delicious meals and the best coffee in your Club in the safest way we can.
